Dduk Guk (Korean Rice Cake Soup)


 1. Soak rice cake for 30 minutes.

 2. Separate 2 eggs.

 3. Cook egg yolks into thin sheet for garnish.

 4. Cut beef into thin strips.

 6. Sear the beef and add in soup soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

 7. Fill pot with 6 cups of water and simmer for 5 mintues, then add in the rice cakes.

 8. Boil the rice cakes until tender.

 9. Stir in the egg whites.

 9. Season and garnish with the egg yolk, seaweed, and green onion.
