These air fryer gochujang bbq chicken thighs are super easy to make and takes only 15 minutes! The bbq chicken thighs are juicy, sweet and savory, perfect for a quick, tasty meal over rice or added as a protein to your favorite bowl or salad!

Ingredients
4pieceboneless, skinless chicken thighstrimmed if necessary
2cupscooked white riceor more (optional for serving)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer:Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
For the gochujang marinade:In a mixing bowl, mix together gochujang, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and black pepper.
Marinate the chicken thighs:Add the chicken thighs into the gochujang marinade and mix well. Make sure the entire chicken thighs are coated with the marinade.*If you have time, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes for max flavor.*
Cook the chicken:Line the bottom of the air fryer basket with a sheet of parchment paper, and arrange the gochujang marinated chicken thighs on the parchment. Air fry the chicken thighs for about 10 minutes, flipping mid way through.*Each air fryer is different, so the cooking time may be different by a few minutes for your air fryer. Keep the chicken thighs in a single layer and cook in batches if necessary.*
To serve:Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer basket. Slice each chicken thighs and shingle over a bed of rice. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds and enjoy!*For extra flavor, carefully remove the parchment paper from the air fryer basket and pour the juices over the chicken.*

If you do not wish to preheat the air fryer, simply add on 3 extra minutes to the cooking time.
Each air fryer is different, so check to make sure your chicken is cooked to 165°F. This may require a couple extra minutes of cooking, depending on your air fryer.
